OHSU Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery PA - Faculty position Monday-Friday willing to consider full or part time, no weekends or call. Salary range $90,000-1$115. The duties of this position include: 1) Outpatient responsibilities: Provide patient care in the outpatient setting and assist the attending physicians with new patient consults, pre-operative, and post-operative care. This includes, but is not limited to: independently seeing patients for low complexity new patient visits, office visits, pre and post op evaluations, and being available to take all patient calls regarding questions; assisting clinic support staff with patient paperwork completion such as workers compensation claims, disability, FMLA, and adjusting patients’ follow-up appointments as needs and concerns dictate. 2) Cosmetic responsibilities: Provide patient care in the outpatient setting and assist the attending physicians with new cosmetic consults, pre-operative, and post-operative care. Clinical Faculty Position in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest - Come join the faculty at an established and highly successful School of Physician Assistant Studies (SPA). Pacific University is seeking applicants for an extended term track or tenure track, Assistant Professor. SPA is housed within the College of Health Professions of Pacific University and is located in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Duties include coordinating clinical rotations and ensuring compliance with appropriate ARC-PA standards, recruiting, evaluating, and monitoring the quality of clinical sites and preceptors, and assisting with curriculum delivery in didactic and clinical phases. Trauma/General Surgery Position - Pacific Surgical, PC, a specialty group consisting of ten physicians and eight physician assistants, is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing trauma/general surgical practice in Portland, Oregon at the Legacy Emanuel Hospital campus. The Clinical Science Specialist (CSS) is responsible for providing fair balanced, objective, scientific information and appropriate product education to health care professionals (HCPs) in compliance with all policies and regulations. She/he must be recognized as having advanced clinical knowledge in cardiovascular/ metabolic disease states. The CSS may also serve as a therapeutic resource to internal business partners as required by business needs. The CSS is responsible for building external relationships with HCPs within the CSS territory, with the ability to identify and address scientific communication needs and stay abreast of the current scientific trends.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: *Execute approved field scientific communication plan under the direction of therapeutic area leadership and Field/Scientific Directors. Provide appropriate scientific information to HCPs and other key healthcare stakeholders using approved scientific content. *Maintains and utilizes expert clinical knowledge and highly effective communication skills. *Provide clear, informative, fair-balanced and compliant response to medical information requests from healthcare professionals. *May participate in approved scientific outreach programs to solicit opinion leader guidance. *Develop externally focused culture: solicit and synthesize external medical and scientific opinions to derive superior customer insight and drive thought leader engagement and partnership. *Act as medical and subject area expert to specific indications and/or products and/or activities to internal and external stakeholders. *Establishes and maintains effective communication /cooperation/coordination with all counterparts as appropriate. *Effectively operates within all SOPs

Job Requirements:*Clinical Degree required. *BSN, RN with a 4 year degree, PA, NP, PharmD, RPh preferred. *Preferred clinical license in good standing.*Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, having significant experience working with health care practitioners. *Advanced knowledge in Cardiovascular and/or Metabolic therapeutic area. *Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with internal partners in a matrix setting are required. *Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with key opinion leaders, health authority, payers and other external stakeholders preferred. *Working knowledge of drug development and regulatory approval processes preferred. *Working knowledge of US health care systems and customers; specifically understanding business models and perspectives of managed care, long term care, public sector payers preferred. *Direct experience in customer facing roles such as clinical educator, medical science liaison, health economic coordinator, or similar role is preferred. *Demonstrated capability for scientific, creative and strategic thinking, and an ability to present and maintain fair-balance during scientific discussions/presentations. *Excellent project management skills required. *Excellent skills in collaboration, influencing and communication (both written and oral presentation) required. *Must be willing and able to travel approx. 75% travel within the region, including some overnight travel. Other travel for business meetings as required. Must live within the territory border in order to be eligible for consideration. *Must have a valid U.S driver's license and a clean driving record. *Strong leader with ability to motivate others; excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) skills with demonstrated effectiveness to work cross-functional and independently. *Excellent judgment and problem solving skills. *Demonstrated ability to effectively build positive relationships both internally & externally.
