Highlights Letter

March 2007

Dear Colleague,

We would like to welcome you to Oregon, and invite you to become a member of the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants. The Oregon Society of Physician Assistants serves as an advocate for all physician assistants in the State. Please see the attached "Highlights" listing which outlines activities and issues in which we have been involved. In addition, OSPA organizes two Continuing Medical Education programs each year and publishes a quarterly newsletter. The next CME will be held in Portland on April 27-29, 2007 and our Fall CME is scheduled for October 12-14, 2007 in Newport. Brochures describing the programs will be mailed approximately 2 months prior to the conference. We would be happy to offer you any assistance you might need. Enclosed is a list of the current OSPA Officers and Committee Chairs and a membership application form. As a member you would receive reduced tuition rates for CMEs sponsored by OSPA, as well as access to our Members Only page on the website, future newsletters and other pertinent mailings. OSPA is working hard for you–please continue to demonstrate your support by joining our society today.
